1Mid-Level Contract Administrator The individual will work as an integral member of the contract support staff in supporting the operations department by providing contract administration support.
This requires working across several departments included but not limited to Finance, Program Control, Program Managers on a daily basis, as well as direct communication with our government counterparts (Contracts Specialists, Contracting Officers, and Contracting Officer Representatives).
A Contracts Administrator will administer all aspects of contracts from award to close-out phase for CPFF, T&M, and FFP type contracts.
They will prepare and verify data inputs for monthly reports and review awards for conformity to proposal requirements.
The Administrator also applies professional-level functional knowledge to solve problems requiring the identification and analysis of moderately complex variables.
This individual also takes action to solve problems/issues that routinely arise in areas of assigned responsibility and may also receive guidance or expertise from higher-level staff on more complex problems.
Responsibilities:
Review contract award documents to ensure information matches latest proposal and coordinate with operations to initiate kick-off meetings, and communicate the contract requirements to all departmentsMonitor contract performance and ensure all government regulatory requirements are met (i.
e.
, FAR, DFAR, limitation of funds, Level of Effort reporting, etc.
).
When necessary, request modification to the contract and upon issuance, review for accuracy and coordinate approvalCoordinate approval of new personnel to be added to contracts as well as any other contract administration actions that may be requiredServe as a business advisor to the operations teamSupport the entire life cycle of the contracts process from winning new business to contract close-outInitiate and negotiate new agreements (including NDAs, TAs, MOUs, and contracts, etc.
Administer existing agreements through close-out, including entry into and upkeep of contracts and modifications into UNANET (our Accounting System)Perform risk assessment reviews of contracts and subcontractsProvide feedback to the operations teams in a timely mannerAssist in planning and scheduling contract and regulatory compliance activities, including internal and external audits (e.
g.
, DCAA, DCMA, and other independent agencies)Provide prompt recommendations for resolution of contractual issues, including regulatory compliance issuesResearch and analyze historical data for reporting and audit purposesCollaborate with partners and contract teamsEnsure compliance with company policies and procedures and disclosure statements with regard to agreement preparation, review, submission, negotiation, management and close-outRequired Skills &
Experience:
3-6 years of experience working in Federal Government contractingKnowledge of Federal contractual instruments and understanding of their usesAbility to use independent judgement to solve problemsAttention to detail a must Preferred Skills &

Proficient User of MS Office and MS TeamsUNANET experience a plusNCMA certification Education:
A Bachelors degree from an accredited college or university in a related fieldClearance:
You must be able to obtain and maintain a Secret Clearance.
