Citrix Administrator On site position in Quantico, VA 22134 Active Secret Clearance Required
Job Description:
Desktop Director Wyse terminal integration Experience integrating Citrix NetScaler ADC devices in an enterprise environment Upgrades Citrix based applications and hardware as required Assists with daily operations and maintenance of enterprise Windows-based environments.
Provides support with restoration efforts for unplanned system outages and service disruptions Assists various SMEs with task-oriented work while receiving OJT learning opportunities (VMware, Exchange, SharePoint, MS SQL).
Performs software upgrades, patch installs, firmware upgrades Performs incident resolution for Tier 3 requests Diagnosis and troubleshoot problems related to the OS, hardware, network, and related software Daily written and oral communications with coworkers and leadership Troubleshoot and configure servers in a virtual environment using vSphere Create scripts in various shells to automate daily and periodic tasks Document work for leadership, update/create Standard Operating Procedures, and brief staff and customers various tasks Basic
Qualifications:
Managing virtual machines leveraging VMware VCenter hypervisor Managing Citrix XenDesktop, XenApp, Desktop Director for hosted applications and virtual desktop deployments via zero client terminals Familiarity with MS SQL in always-on deployments leveraging Windows Server Failover Clustering and SQL availability groups Familiarity with Exchange 2016 Familiarity with Airwatch Mobile Device Management Group Policy Management administration to include policy creation and maintenance Windows Server 2012/2016/2019 Server Core deployment, configuration, and management Improving system operations and functionality, monitoring, and optimization of servers and workstations Requires ability to work in a collaborative environment to troubleshoot and resolve problems Security THIRD PARTY AGENCIES, SUBCONTRACTORS, AND RECRUITERS NEED NOT APPLY.
